dc.description.abstract Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) inverters became popular in many Medium Voltage (MV), high power drives. Conventional two-level inverters do not provide complete solution for the applications deals with high power. The main problem with NPC inverters is DC link capacitors voltage unbalancing i.e. the input DC voltage is not shared equally between the two capacitors. In this paper, Modified Space Vector Modulation (SVM) using vector angle technique is presented. In the Modified SVM, the redundancies of the small vectors are used to balance the DC link capacitors voltage. In this paper experimental results are shown for Modified SVM by considering resistive load. en_US
