dc.description.abstract The incorporation of amine functionality in the periphery of a synthetic cobaloxime core induces excellent photo-(TON 180) and electrocatalytic H2 production (TOF 4330 s?1) in aqueous solution. The primary amine group displays a superior influence on the catalysis compared to a secondary amine group with an analogous cobaloxime template.
