dc.description.abstract We discuss the structure of a model with anextended gauge symmetry groupSU(2)×SU(2)×U(1)with a correspondingly rich Electroweak Symmetry Break-ing structure. In spite of the additional scalar degrees of free-dom in the model, the presence of the extra gauge groupSU(2)and its associated heavy vector bosons ensures thatthe scalar spectrum of the model after symmetry breakingis identical to that of the Two Higgs Doublet Models. Weconstruct the model and discuss its implications, specificallythe phenomenology associated with this class of models incontrast to the 2HDM.
