A finite analogue of fine's function F(a,b;t)

Abstract

We initiate a systematic development of FN(a,b;t), a finite analogue of Fine�s function F(a,b;t). Our results are transformations between FN(a,b;t) and FN(aq?,bqm;tqn), where?, mandntake the values 0 or 1.
