dc.description.abstract We establish the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions of a first-order neutral differential equation with state-dependent delay and almost sectorial operator by using the theory of almost sectorial operators and fixed point theorems and show that under certain conditions mild solution becomes the classical solution. Later, we also discuss the local well-posedness of the associated Cauchy problem.
